Ulysses S. Johnson, 86, of the 2700 block of Park Avenue, Petersburg, passed away April 18, 2009 at his residence.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 23, 2009 at New Branch Baptist Church, 8140 Proctors Bridge Road, Ivor, officiated by the Rev. Frank Aikens. Interment will be in the Davis Family Cemetery. The body will be placed in the church Thursday at noon. Crocker Funeral Home, Suffolk, is handling arrangements.
