Mr. James Thomas (J.T.) Newsome, 70, of Suffolk, died April 23, 2009, at Sentara Obici Hospital.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Metropolitan Baptist Church, Suffolk, with Elder Melvin Boone of Angelical Christian Worship Center officiating.
