East Washington Street, from Liberty Street to Franklin Street, will be closed to through traffic through Thursday so workers can perform a water main connection as part of the Hall Avenue project, according to Suffolk spokesperson Debbie George.

During this time, traffic will be detoured to Liberty Street, Bank Street and Franklin Street.
