White enjoys horseback riding

Lynette White is the tourism development manager for Suffolk Tourism.
Q: What is the best part about your job?
A: Everyday, there are no two days alike. I meet a lot of different people from all walks of life.
Q: How did you get into tourism?
A: By accident. I started in economic development. Council determined they wanted to diversify and promote tourism, and I found myself here.
Q: What do you do in your leisure time?
A: I enjoy exploring new places by horseback riding, motorcycling, and puttering in my yard. I’m still traveling a lot of places in Suffolk, still discovering new things, meeting new characters.
Q: Do you own horses?
A: Yes, I own two quarterhorses.
Q: What is a unique fact about you?
A: I worked for President Nixon in his library. I worked for a law firm that represented him and helped assemble materials for his library.
