PORTSMOUTH — Juanita Anne Noble, 86, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Jan. 4, 2010.
She was a native of Springfield, Ohio and was raised by Dr. and Mrs. Howell. She was a registered nurse with Portsmouth General Hospital and was often referred to by her neighbors and friends as the Florence Nightingale of West Park View.
She was predeceased by her husband, Clifford Elliott Noble Sr; a daughter, Dorothy Jayne Noble; and a son, Steven Lewis Noble.
Survivors include a daughter, Rose Anne Bernyk; a son, Dr. Clifford Elliott Noble, II; special family member Vera Lee Lumber Buchanan; and numerous grand- and great-grandchildren.
The family wishes to thank the staff of May Fair House in Portsmouth for the faithful care of their loving mother.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Olive Branch Cemetery by Dr. Carlton Smith. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
