James Reginald Grant, 66, peacefully passed away during the evening of Monday, Jan. 11, 2010. He was born on Oct. 6, 1943 in Suffolk, Va.
James leaves behind a sister, Barbara Johnson, two brothers, Samuel L. Grant (Debbie), and Clarence Grant (Jacqueline), and other family and friends.
Mr. Grant will be on view from noon to 4 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 17 at the funeral home. The family will receive visitors at 309 Duke St. at all other times. A service of remembrance will be held at noon Monday, Jan. 18 at Antioch United Church of Christ, the Rev. Jarvis Jones, pastor, and the Rev. J.J. Ferguson.
