Mrs. Fannie Mae Scott, 202 N. Lloyd St., departed this earthly life on Jan. 28, 2010.
She was predeceased by her parents, Eugene and Fannie Hill Wilson, her husband, George D. Scott, a sister, Irene Willie, and brothers James F. Wilson and Samuel Wilson. She was formerly employed at the Bank of America. Her survivors includes her loving daughter, Antoinette Scott, of Suffolk, her nieces and nephews, Sharon Wilkins (Michael), Deborah Walker, Tonya Wilson, Gwendolyn Goodman (Carmon), and James Wilson all of Suffolk, Iva Wilson, Ivan Wilson, Steven Wilson, all of New Jersey, and Dontra Ashe, of Portsmouth.
A funeral of triumph will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010 at 1 p.m. at the East End Baptist Church. The Rev. Mark Croston Sr., officiating. Burial will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery.
