SUFFOLK — Mamie Lee Watford Castle, 97, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, Feb. 14, 2010. She was born to the late John W. Watford and Carrie Evan Watford on Aug. 27, 1912.
She was the widow of the late Mofitt Castle.
Ms. Castle will be on view from noon to 6 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 17 at the funeral home, and the family will receive visitors at the residence of Wanda Outland, 17 Carver Circle, Portsmouth, VA 23701 at all other times. A service of remembrance will take place at 2 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 18 in the Rev. Melvin R. Boone Chapel of the funeral home. Ms. Castle will be laid to rest at Langston Cemetery.
