Ernest Lee “Moochie” Thorne, 69, of Suffolk, Va., passed away Feb. 17, 2010 in Sentara Obici Hospital. Ernest was the son of the late Buck and Beulah Thorne.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, Feb. 28, 2010 at noon in Bethlehem Christian Church on Bute Street, with the Rev. Emanuel Myrick officiating. Burial will follow in Carver Cemetery. Friends may join the family at 122 North Capital St. on Thursday and Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. Crocker Funeral Home is in charge.
