Margaret Vera Boldt Pruitt, 78, passed away quietly in her home on March 21, following complications from pneumonia. She was born on February 13, 1932 and was a lifelong resident of Suffolk, the daughter of the late Frank and Maude Ellis. Margaret was married to and is survived by her husband of 57 years, Archie T. Pruitt, Sr. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Janice Pruitt Houst of Meridian, Idaho. She was a loving and devoted mother and is survived by daughter, Libby Pruitt Breyette (John Breyette) of Houston, Texas, and son, Archie T. Pruitt, Jr (Donna Aston Pruitt) of Suffolk, and grandchildren, Christine Pruitt of Suffolk, Kathryn and Michael Breyette of Houston, Texas, and Jennifer, Adam, Diane, Darlene, and Sarah Houst of Idaho, and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Parr Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday night from 7-8 p.m. at the funeral home and other times at the residence. The funeral service will be held on March 24 at 11 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive with Rev. Wayne Gardner officiating.
