Tedlee Marzeraski Hargrove, “Ted,” 49, died on March 27, 2010.
He was a 1979 graduate of John Yeates High School and attended Norfolk State University.
He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Washington Hargrove; two sons: Tedrick LaMar Hargrove, of Atlanta, Ga., and Timothy LaMont Hargrove; his mother, Sarah V. Epps Hargrove; four sisters: Dr. Sandra H. Smith (Roderick); Jocelyn D. Hargrove, Brenda H. Scott, of Las Vegas, Nev., and Lucinda H. Metcalf (Kevin), of Bristol, Va.; two brothers: Sammy L. Hargrove (Carol) and V. Chico Hargrove; father and mother-in-law: Curtis and Mary Washington. He was preceded in death by his father, Jacob Hargrove.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, April 3 at noon at Union Baptist Missionary Church (located at the corner of Shoulders Hill Road and Nansemond Parkway in Suffolk) with Bishop C.V. Russell Sr. and Dr. Anthony Copeland, presiding. Burial will follow in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens (Shoulders Hill Road). The family is receiving friends at 5053 Townpoint Road in Suffolk (Pughsville section). Corprew Funeral Home is in charge.
