A Suffolk man pleaded not guilty to charges of first-degree murder, shoot/stab in commission of a felony and concealment of a dead body.
Darren Montez Moseley entered the pleas in Suffolk Circuit Court on Wednesday.
Moseley was arrested Oct. 27 and charged with the death of his wife, 27-year-old Cathy Moseley.
Moseley’s body was found in a vehicle in Isle of Wight County on Oct. 27. She had been reported missing the day before by her husband and her mother, who said they had not seen or heard from her since Oct. 23. Moseley told police his wife left their home while he was at the store, after the two had a discussion about trying to fix their marital problems.
An autopsy revealed Moseley died of multiple stab wounds.
