Police seek larceny suspects
Suffolk Police are seeking help from the public identifying three subjects who could be connected to a grand larceny.
On April 25, a customer at a convenience store in the 400 block of Carolina Road placed her Samsung Omnia cell phone on the counter while she made a purchase. During the course of the transaction, the phone — valued at almost $300 — was stolen.
Police are seeking three people who were in the store at the time of the larceny. The man behind the victim in line is described as a black male in his 20s, about 6 feet to 6 feet 3 inches tall, wearing a red hat and white shirt. He and two other subjects possibly left in a late ‘90s model white Infinity J-series.
Anyone who has information is asked to call Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP. Callers to Crime Line never have to give their names or appear in court, and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000. Officer J. Lurie is the lead investigator.
