A Suffolk grand jury issued 38 indictments against 25 defendants Monday, including two for a woman accused of leaving her two young children home alone.

Jasmine Tonique Davis, of the 500 block of Mason Avenue, was arrested May 3 on two charges of felony child neglect.

According to city spokeswoman Debbie George, police were called to Davis’ home May 1 when the father of one of the two children — ages 2 and 3 — visited the home and found the two girls there without their mother.
