Jackie Donald Jones, 59, of 315 Hollywood Ave., Suffolk, departed this life July 10, 2010 in Brooklyn, N.Y. He was the son of the late Sidney H. Jones Jr. and Lillian B. Banks Jones. He was also predeceased by his brother, Sidney Jones III.
Jackie is survived by his sister, Yvonne Diggs (John) and three brothers, William Jones (Beverly), Leon Jones and LaCurtis Jones.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, Aug. 1, 2010 from 1 to 5 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Monday, Aug. 2, 2010 at 1 p.m. in T.E. Cooke-Overton Funeral Home. Interment will be at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery. Professional services are entrusted to T.E. Cooke-Overton Funeral Home.
