Clifton Lee Willie Sr., 58 of 1861 Nansemond Parkway, Suffolk passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at Nansemond Pointe Rehabilitation Healthcare Center. He was a native of Nansemond County and the son of Mildred W. Evans of Portsmouth and the late Clifton L. Willie Sr.
He was a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School and attended Fayetteville State University. He was employed at King’s Fork High School. Clifton was a member of East End Baptist Church.
He leaves to cherish his memory one daughter, Trayvia Watson (Ronnie) of Maryland; two sons, Clifton L. Willie III (Nicole) of Richmond and Antoine Willie of Suffolk; three brothers, James L. Willie, B.J. Willie and Antonio L. Willie (Rev. Barbara), all of Suffolk; four grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral will be held 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 3 at Canaan Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Mark Croston Sr. Interment will be in Canaan Baptist Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the home of Antonio and Barbara Willie, 1861 Nansemond Parkway, Suffolk.
