Bertel Lane, 83, of 37505 General Mahone Blvd., Ivor, Va., passed away Saturday, Aug. 14, 2010 at his residence.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, Aug. 19, 2010 at noon in New Branch Baptist Church, 8140 Proctors Bridge Road in Ivor, officiated by the Rev. Frank L. Aikens Sr. The remains will be placed in the church at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Davis Family Cemetery. Crocker Funeral Home, Inc. is handling the arrangements.
