Brenda Faye Richardson, 50, of 2333 Pruden Blvd., Suffolk passed away Sunday, Aug. 15, 2010 at Riverpoint Rehabilitation Center in Virginia Beach, Va. She was a native of Suffolk, Va., and the daughter of Jean Rountree Richardson and the late Lonnie Lee Richardson Sr. She was also predeceased by one son, Alvin Richardson.
She attended Suffolk Public Schools and was a companion aide for many years.
Besides her mother, Jean Richardson, she leaves to cherish her memory: one daughter, Latoya Richardson, of Suffolk; two grandchildren, Christian Jones and Kalia Robinson; two sisters, Betty Goodman (Jerry), and Barbara Hodges (Lonnie), all of Suffolk; four brothers, Lonnie Richardson (Net), James Richardson (Cynthia), Donald Richardson (Marilyn) and Dennis Richardson (Elsie), all of Suffolk; special childhood friend, Sharon Beamon; devoted cousin, Daisy White; and other relatives and many friends.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, Aug. 20, 2010 at noon in Zion Christian Church, 5200 Quaker Road, Suffolk, Va., officiated by the Rev. Ben Fitzgerald.
