A Suffolk man was arrested and charged with manufacturing marijuana for others to use following a search of his Manning Road home on Thursday, according to police.

Police from Suffolk’s Special Investigative Unit arrested Michael Carl Garrison, 42, when he showed up while they were searching his house under the authority of a narcotics search warrant, Suffolk spokesperson Debbie George said Friday.

“Numerous marijuana plants were found, in addition to a grow operation,” George said.
