Saints get TCIS victory

Nansemond-Suffolk won its Tidewater Conference opener Friday night beating Norfolk Christian 13-6 in Virginia Beach.
After a scoreless first half, NSA senior Ryan May scored on a 29-yard touchdown run. A Bobby Lamm extra point put NSA up 7-0 in the third quarter.
The Ambassadors scored in the period, but missed the extra point, leaving the Saints up by one.
Another 29-yard touchdown run by May made it 13-6 in the fourth quarter.
Nansemond-Suffolk is 4-0 in the all-time series against Norfolk Christian. NSA (1-2, 1-0) plays at Bishop Sullivan Catholic next Saturday afternoon.
