To the Editor:

All citizens of Suffolk now own the Lone Star Lake Park, and this property should not be given away or sold. The park is for the enjoyment of all our citizens.

The Nansemond Indians now get to use this park free each year for their powwow, and this should continue. Other groups also should continue to be allowed the use of this part of Lone Star Lake property.

Our city parks should not be for gift or for sale.
