Incumbent Michael Debranski won re-election to the Suffolk borough seat on the School Board over challenger Deborah Wahlstrom.

Debranski is a retired teacher and principal and recently retired as the owner of a Jostens franchise.

Wahlstrom was a teacher, principal and administrator at schools in Norfolk, Virginia Beach and Portsmouth before she opened an education consulting business.
