Suffolk police are requesting assistance from the public in investigating a bank robbery.
Police say that a man entered the Bank of Hampton Roads in the 2800 block of Godwin Boulevard just before 4 p.m. Friday. He approached the counter, produced a handgun and demanded money from the teller.
The suspect was given money, which he placed in a bag. He then fled the building and may have been seen getting into an older model, two-tone Bronco II-type SUV.
