Suffolk police say shots fired from this house on Randolph Street put one man in the hospital with a head injury.

Suffolk police still are investigating a shooting that occurred Sunday night in the 2400 block of Randolph Street that left one man with a head injury.

Officers received a call about 9:30 p.m. in reference to a disturbance at a home in the neighborhood off East Washington Street, according to city spokeswoman Debbie George. A short time later, a male arrived at the Sentara Obici Hospital emergency room with a gunshot wound to the head.

“Investigation revealed that individual was actually shot at the Randolph Street location,” George said.

According to police, four individuals went to the Randolph Street house, where they “got into a disagreement with the owner and his brother,” George said. “The owner of the residence fired several shots at the victim,” she added.

The victim’s friends drove him to Obici, from where he was later airlifted to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. He is in stable condition, George said.

Police continue to investigate the incident, she said.
