Martha Earlene Hall, 59, of 306 Hill St., Suffolk, died Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010 at Sentara Obici Hospital. She was a native of Gates, N.C., and the daughter of the late Johnnie B. Boone and Mary Elizabeth Parker Boone.

She was a member of New Mt. Joy Food for Living Ministries and a former senior choir member.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her daughter, Teresa Boone, of Suffolk; two sons, Alvin Thomas Boone (Tammy) and Kelvin Lee Boone Sr. (Regina), both of Suffolk; six grandchildren; three sisters, Margrit Booth (Joseph), Syroa Milteer (Zachariah) and Sandra Boone, all of Suffolk; three brothers, Ocie Lee Boone and Calvin D. Boone, both of Suffolk, Maiso Johnson (Glenda), of North Carolina; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, 2010 at New Mt. Joy Food for Living Ministries officiated by Pastor Viola Parker, with eulogy by Dr. Earl Boone. Crocker Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Condolences may be extended to the family at www.crockerfuneralhome.com.
