Marjorie “Marge” Atkinson passed on to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, Dec. 9, 2010.

She was the beloved wife of Edwin Atkinson; dear mother of Edith (Doug) Penno, Ann Atkinson and Ginny (Kenneth) Manley; loving grandmother of William (Anna) Atkinson and Wayne (Patty) and daughter Elisabeth Atkinson; sister of Julia Ann Williams, Rachael (Nelvin) Cooper, Phyllis Matthews and Martha Eubanks. Marge was preceded in death by her parents, J.C. and Willie Atkinson, and brothers J.C. and James.

A memorial service will be held at St. Mark Presbyterian Church, 601 Claymont Drive, Ballwin, Wednesday at 11 a.m. Private interment will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (Go to Tribute page at www.themmrf.org and search Marjorie Atkinson) or River Hills School Foundation, c/o Mike Lonning, Principal, 2700 Grand Blvd, Cedar Falls, IA 50647.
