Jeanette Trench Bailey, 84, died Dec. 16, 2010. She was the daughter of the late Minnie Lee and William Herbert Trench. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Mark Bailey Sr.

A native of Eclipse, she was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church and retired after 30 years of service at Louise Obici Memorial Hospital as the director of environmental services.

Jeanette is survived by two sons Raymond Mark Bailey Jr. and wife, Lynne, of New Kent, Va., and David Alan Bailey and partner, Carolyn, of Suffolk; grandson, Raymond M. Bailey III, of New York, N.Y.; and sister, Louise T. Moore, of Suffolk.

A funeral service will be conducted at the R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory, 509 W. Washington St., Suffolk, on Monday, Dec. 20, 2010 at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Carl LeMon and the Rev. Ronald Cava, with entombment following at Meadowbrook Memorial Garden. The family will receive friends at R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory Sunday, Dec. 19, 2010 from 3 to 4:30 p.m.
