Clarence “Sammie” Thomas Whitley, 79, of Windsor, Va., passed away Dec. 31, 2010.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, Va., with Pastor Kevin Payne and Thomas Steele Carr officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. Friends may join the family Monday night from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
