Knights host ABA foes Sat. and Sun.

The Seven City Knights, in their debut season in the ABA (American Basketball Association), have back-to-back home games at Churchland High School this weekend.

Coming off a 104-89 win over the Tru Hope Trailblazers to run Seven City’s record to 7-0, the Knights host the Tri-City Racers of Johnson City, Tenn. Saturday at 6 p.m. then the NYC Thunder Sunday at 4 p.m.

The Knights are ranked No. 3 in the ABA’s national power rankings. The top 24 teams in the rankings make the playoffs at the end of the season.

Four Lakeland alums play for the Knights: Travis Klink, Jaleel Nelson, Eric Ruffin and John Lillard.

Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for children.
