“I look forward to working with my colleagues under the strong leadership of Chairman Lamar Smith as we exercise our oversight role in ensuring commitment to the Constitution, fighting crime and securing our homeland, reforming a broken immigration system, and working to keep Guantanamo Bay detainees out of American communities,” Forbes said.

Forbes has been a member of the House Judiciary Committee since 2001.
