Elder Samuel Moore, 92, of the 4300 block of Airline Boulevard, Chesapeake, Va., transitioned to be with the Lord on Jan. 21, 2011.

A funeral service will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Garden of Prayer Worship Center, 1001 Church St., Norfolk, VA 23510. Burial will be at Roosevelt Memorial Cemetery, Chesapeake, Va. Steele-Bullock Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Viewing will be Friday from noon to 6 p.m. at the funeral home, and a wake service will be held at the Garden of Prayer No. 4 C.O.G.I.C., 1409 Marshall Ave., Portsmouth, Va., at 7 p.m. Family and friends will assemble at the residence on Saturday by noon for the processional to the church.
