Wilbert T. Jordan Sr., 75, of Philadelphia, Pa., was a native of Chuckatuck, Va. He departed this life Jan. 26, 2011. He entered into eternal rest receiving Christ as his Savior.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Quindell Hatton, Valerie Hill (John), Wilbert Jordan Jr. (Shelia), Elder Miles Jordan (Deborah), Chonda Liggins (Lloyd), Darleen Jordan, Todd Jordan, Karen Crabtree (Doyle) and Dionne Bonaparte (Joey); two sisters, Lillie Frances Jordan, Evelyn Harris (John); and a special aunt, Floris Brown; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

There will be a service of remembrance Sunday, Feb. 6, 2011, at 3 p.m. at Bridge of Life Church, 5960 Godwin Blvd., Suffolk, Va. Visitation will be at the home of his son, Elder Miles Jordan, 5743 Godwin Blvd. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bridge of Life Building Fund.
