Ms. Sally J. Blow, age 69, died at home in Suffolk, Va., on Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011.

Born Oct. 20, 1941, in Suffolk, Va., she lived in Suffolk, Va. She attended Suffolk Public Schools and graduated from East Suffolk High School in 1961. She worked for General Electric and Gambro until their closing. She was a current employee of Macy’s.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Anna Jane Blow and Rufus Blow Sr., her siblings, Fredrick Blow, Rufus Blow Jr., Lorraine Bailey and Wesley Blow.

Sally was a faithful member of Little Bethel Baptist Church.

Survivors include a devoted sister, Beatrice Blow, of Suffolk, Va.; nieces and nephews, Charlene Walker, Vinell Burrus (Luther), Lloyd Hardin (Cynthia), Carmilla Bailey, Mills T. Bailey Jr., Glenda Bailey-Whigham, Ferguson Blow, Felicia Cross (Larry), Filton Blow, Felton Blow, Larry Blow (Robin), Faye Towns, Michelle Blow, Deborah Williams (Luke); 33 great-nieces and -nephews; 34 great-great-nieces and -nephews; and a host of cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held at noon, Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2011 at Little Bethel Baptist Church, officiated by the Rev. Bernard Thomas. Interment will be in Christian Home Baptist Church Cemetery.
