Willie Branch and Katy Pope announce the engagement of their daughter, Cleo W. Branch, to Dennis D. Hobbs.

Miss Branch is a 1995 graduate of Churchland High School. She is employed by Ross department store of Chesapeake.

Mr. Hobbs is the son of Alice S. Hobbs and the late Oliver A. Hobbs of Gatesville, N.C. Mr. Hobbs is a 1992 graduate of Gates County High School. He is employed by Maersk Distribution of Chesapeake, Va. The wedding will take place May 21 in Suffolk.
