George Montgomery Beale, 46, of 4824 Mineral Springs Road, Suffolk, died Monday, March 21, 2011, in Southampton County. He was a native of Suffolk and the son of Eva Jean Stewart Newton and the late George Beale.

He attended John F. Kennedy High School. He worked as a self-employed contractor.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Annette Beale; six daughters, Takesha Cobb, Tracina Wilkerson, SaShae’ Ford, Crystal Ford, Lacresha Riddick and Ashley Cobb, all of Suffolk; one son, George Montgomery Beale Jr., of Suffolk; five grandchildren; his mother, Eva Jean Stewart Newton (Charles); three sisters, Brenda Turner and Tasha Beale, both of Suffolk, and Brenda Manning, of Franklin, Va.; two brothers, Carter Beale (Angela) and Rodney Beale (Wendy); other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held at noon, Saturday March 26, 2011 at St. Paul R.Z.U.A. officiated by Elder Edward P. Foreman. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Friday, March 25, 2011 from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Crocker Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
