Suffolk Police are investigating the robbery of a convenience store Wednesday night where a shot was fired.

Suffolk Police are trying to identify this man, who they say shot a gun at a clerk during a convenience store robbery.

Just before 9 p.m., a man entered the Southern Food Store in the 800 block of West Constance Road. The man demanded money from the clerk. After she gave him money from the register, he demanded money from the safe, as well.

When the clerk would not give him money from the safe, the suspect fired the handgun he was brandishing. No one was injured. He then fled the store.
