Mr. Thomas and Mrs. Eva Byrd, of Dendron, announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Thomesha Byrd, to Mr. Curtis Valentine, son of Mr. Michael Miller, of Guthrie, Okla., and Ms. Patricia Valentine, of Bertie County, N.C. A wedding is planned for May 2011.
