Carrollton Nike Park opened its new soccer complex and kicked off its spring soccer season on Saturday, April 9.

Isle of Wight Parks and Recreation’s spring program had a record-breaking 484 children register. The new complex provides the fields needed to keep up with the expanding soccer program. The Parks and Recreation Department plans to accommodate tournaments at the new complex.

A ribbon cutting signaled the grand opening and Reina Soczka kicked the ceremonial first goal for the new fields.
