Suffolk Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating two subjects that were involved in possible frauds earlier this month.
Police say that on April 10, black males purchased items at both of the city’s Walmarts, in the 1200 block of North Main Street and in the 6200 block of College Drive.
Each of the transactions was paid for with large bills. In both cases, the suspects repeatedly asked for change and exchanged bills back and forth with the cashier until they finally left with several hundred dollars more than they should have received.
Police would like to speak to the men in reference to their transactions. Anyone who is able to identify the men or has any additional information is asked to call Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP. Callers to Crime Line
never have to give their names or appear in court, and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
