Marie W. Wiggins, age 92, of 6201 Holy Neck Road, Suffolk, passed away Monday, April 25, 2011, at Sentara Obici Hospital. She was a native of Nansemond County and the daughter of the late Sam Phelps and Hattie Warren Phelps. She was the widow of Lozie Williams and Henry Wiggins.

She was a member of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, Suffolk, and served in the Senior Choir and Senior Usher Board Ministries.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, April 29, 2011, at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church officiated by the Rev. William Lang, with eulogist the Rev. Dr. Joseph H. Goode. Interment will be in Mt. Sinai Church Cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 11:30 a.m. on Friday. A visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 28, 2011, at the funeral home.
