If you’re in a 1600s kind of mood next week, get ready to celebrate the 54th annual pilgrimage and 17th century celebration with Historic St. Luke’s Church in Isle of Wight County.

The event will occur May 15 at 4 p.m. and include 17th-century style musicians and entertainment. The musical program will be inside the old brick church, which is the oldest church of English foundation, the oldest continually standing brick structure and the only surviving original Gothic building in the country.

After the musical program, the Locrian Consort strolling musicians will lead guests up the path and onto the green for a boxed dinner and children’s games. Cost for the meal is $5 per person.
