SUFFOLK — Nellie H. Byrd, 95, widow of Leonard H. “Doc” Byrd, went to be with her loving Father on May 20, 2011.

The funeral will be held on Monday, May 23, 2011, at 3 p.m. by the Rev. Jim George and the Rev. Doug Gibson at Hillcrest Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Western Branch Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 22, 2011, from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Parr Funeral Home, and other times at the residence.
