Suffolk police are seeking a man who robbed a liquor store at gunpoint on Tuesday.
Police received a call about 11 a.m. from the Alcoholic Beverage Control store in the 6500 block of Hampton Roads Parkway.
The 59-year-old employee reported that a black male had entered the business, pointed a handgun and made him lie on the floor. He then took money from the business and from the employee’s wallet.
The suspect is described as a black male who wore a white, hooded sweatshirt with blue and red horizontal stripes. The hood was pulled over his head, and he wore a bandanna and sunglasses, city spokeswoman Debbie George said.
The suspect fled the scene. No one was injured in the robbery.
