Bobbie Gale Laubach, 66, died Monday, May 23, 2011, at Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk. A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, May 27, at Smithfield Baptist Church. Burial will follow at St. Luke’s Memorial Park, Smithfield. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Mary K. Gale Music Scholarship Fund, c/o Smithfield Baptist Church, 100 Wainwright Drive, Smithfield, VA 23430.
