Ms. Mary Artis Scott Davis, of Suffolk, Mr. Philip J. Haynie II, of Reedville, and Ms. Judith S. Haynie, of Heathsville, are proud to announce the graduation of their daughter, Jennifer Haynie, M.D. from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tenn.

Jennifer earned her medical degree on May 21, 2011, at The Grand Ole Opry House and was a recipient of the Lloyd C. Elam, M.D. Professionalism Award. Ms. Haynie plans to start her residency in Nashville in internal medicine at Metro General Hospital in July 2011. Jennifer is a 2000 graduate of Northumberland High School. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from Hampton University in May 2004.
