Suffolk police are seeking a wig-wearing suspect in the Wednesday robbery of an Advance America business.

About 3:30 p.m., police responded to the business on North Main Street after receiving a hold-up alarm. The clerk told officers a man had entered the store, produced a black handgun and demanded money from a cash drawer and from the safe in the rear of the store.

Police are looking for a young black male, clean-shaven, approximately 6 feet tall with a slim build. He was wearing a black, straight, long wig, sunglasses with a brown tint, black sweatpants with red stripes, a white short-sleeved T-shirt and a black hat. He carried a dark-colored shoulder bag over his right shoulder.
