Mr. Herman Ferguson Allmond, of Cambria Height, Md., died June 14, 2011. He was the son of the late Moses and Mary Almond.

He was reared in Windsor in Isle of Wight County, Va.

Mr. Allmond was a former member of Jones Grove Baptist Church, Windsor, Va.

Herman leaves to mourn, his wife, Marjorie; his sons, Darryl and Charles; one granddaughter, Danesha Allmond; his brother, King Solomon Allmond, of Smithfield, Va.; and many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be Sunday, June 19, 2011, at 2:30 p.m. in Crocker Funeral Home, by the Rev. Robert Wilkins. Interment will be in the Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk on Monday, June 20, 2011, at 1:30 p.m.

The family will be at the home of Samuel Allmond, 225 N. Division St., Suffolk.
