Suffolk police are investigating a double stabbing that occurred early Sunday morning at Hoffler Apartments.
A 911 call was made at 3:49 a.m. reporting guns in the area, said Diana Klink, a city spokeswoman. When police arrived at the complex, located off East Washington Street, about 60 people in the parking lot quickly dispersed, Klink said.
The officers located two victims, Derrick Park, 20, and D’avron Hudson, 22, in the parking lot. Parker had been stabbed in the upper back and Hudson had been stabbed in the right forearm.
Parker was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, and Hudson was taken to Sentara Obici Hospital. Both are expected to recover from their injuries.
“Police have very little to go on, and it doesn’t appear that either victim is interested in prosecuting,” Klink said Monday.
