Larceny suspect sought

Suffolk police are asking for assistance in identifying a woman who used a stolen debit card to buy clothes.

Surveillance: Suffolk police are seeking the identity of this woman, who they say stolen two purses from an office building and used one of the victims’ debit cards at a Hampton Target store.

According to police, two purses were stolen from an office building in the 5800 block of Harbour View Boulevard on May 27. Later that same day, a debit card belonging to one of the victims was used at a Target store in Hampton to make a clothing purchase in excess of $100.

Investigators obtained an image of the woman from a surveillance video. Anyone who can identify her is asked to call Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP. Callers to Crime Line never have to give their names or appear in court, and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
