Joseph Hopkins Jr., 79, entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 24, 2011, at Chesapeake Regional Hospital.

Mr. Hopkins’ funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, June 30, at Lee’s Chapel AME Church, 1036 Bells Mill Road, Chesapeake, and a visitation will be held at 11 a.m. until the time of service. Mr. Hopkins will be laid to rest on Saturday, July 2, at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens in New Jersey.
